Photo: Rare Rhinos Go Missing in Nepal

An Indian rhinoceros strolls through Royal Chitwan National Park, which sits about 125 miles (200) kilometers south of the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu.

Forty-nine of the 72 rare rhinos transferred from Royal Chitwan to Royal Bardia National Park have mysteriously vanished, park officials reported. Some experts say poaching is unlikely, because no carcasses have been found. But other officials still think human hands are to blame.
