Photo: Canada's Low-Gravity Puzzle Solved, Scientists Say



An artist's conception shows the pair of orbiting NASA satellites known as GRACE. Minute changes in Earth's gravity can be detected by precisely measuring how the distance between the two satellites changes.

A new study used GRACE data to help solve a longstanding mystery: an unusual area of low gravity in northern Canada.
