Photo: Syria Mass Graves Suggest Ancient Urban Conflict



Recently discovered mass graves in Syria include piles of unattached skulls and separated arm and leg bones.

Along with the young age of those buried, these signs of neglect suggest a violent battle over the influential ancient city of Tell Brak.
