Photo: Bird Flu Detected in Three People in Iowa, Study Finds



A blue-winged teal rests at Iowa's DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge. A duck hunter and two wildlife workers in Iowa have tested positive for a nonlethal form of avian flu, according to scientists, providing the first potential evidence that bird flu can be transferred to humans from wild birds.
