Photo: Hubble Trouble May Postpone Shuttle Visit Until 2009



Space shuttle Columbia's remote manipulator arm connects with the Hubble Space Telescope in an artist's impression of Hubble's 2002 servicing mission.

The next and final shuttle mission to repair and upgrade the aging telescope has been delayed following a mechanical failure with Hubble's data formatter, NASA said in September 2008.
