Photo: Rare One-Horned Rhino Bouncing Back in Nepal

An Indian rhinoceros, also known as a great one-horned rhinoceros, walks through tall grass in Nepal's Royal Chitwan National Park in an undated photo.

A recent government census of the endangered animals shows that they are rebounding in Chitwan, rising from 372 animals in 2005 to 408 in 2008. Officials say new anti-poaching measures, along with better sex ratios and habitat improvements, have contributed to the increase.
