Photo: New Dinosaur Was Nut-Cracking "Parrot"



A newly identified dinosaur (right) had a boxlike skull and jaw that resemble those of modern-day parrots (left, a modern macaw skull).

The dinosaur's powerful head allowed it to eat hard foods such as nuts and seeds, according to a June 2009 study.
