Photo: Dark Matter Ring Detected by Hubble



This composite image taken by the Hubble Space Telescope shows a ghostly "ring" of dark matter in the galaxy cluster Cl 0024+17. Astronomers say that the dark ring was produced from a collision between two gigantic clusters and is the best evidence yet for the existence of dark matter.
