Photo: Drugs Found in Hair of Ancient Andean Mummies

Traces of the drug harmine were found in this Tiwanaku mummy's hair, an October 2008 study reports. The body, discovered in northern Chile's Azapa Valley, dates to between A.D. 800 and 1200 and suggests that drug use was widespread in Tiwanaku culture.
