Photo: Ancient Pyramid Found at Mexico City Christian Site



Beneath crosses used during an annual Crucifixion ritual in Mexico City, archaeologist Maria Flores excavates a newfound 1,500-year-old pyramid built by the Teotihuacan culture.

Because of the ancient structure's proximity to the modern ritual site, Flores says further excavations will be limited.
