Photo: Where Are All the Migratory Birds Going?



A satellite transmitter fastened to a greater shearwater tells scientists where and how far these seabirds can migrate. Six have been tracked so far during epic, 10,000-mile journeys from North America to Africa, South America, and the middle of the Atlantic.
