Photo: Pets Massacred in Puerto Rico

The dog was apparently thrown from a highway overpass.

A probe by the Associated Press found that inhumane killings of pets in Puerto Rico were far more extensive than even what animal welfare activists suspected, involving possibly thousands of animals and stretching over the last eight years.
