Photo: Global Warming May Dry Up Africa's Rivers, Study Suggests



Hippos swim in Botswana's Chobe River. A new study finds that a predicted decrease in rainfall in Africa could have a devastating effect on the continent's rivers. The drop in river water would be particularly drastic in South Africa and Botswana, according to the research.
