Rare in-the-pouch footage of twin Matschie's tree kangaroos (above, an adult at a Singapore zoo) reveals that the babies can survive even if they detach early from the teat, zoo officials announced in April 2009.

In the wild, the endangered tree kangaroos are found only in the rain forests of Papua New Guinea.
