Photo: Could Jupiter Moon Harbor Fish-Size Life?



It may look like a giant ball of scuffed ice, but between its frigid shell and rocky center, Europa (pictured) is likely all ocean, scientists say.

Research presented in October 2009 suggests the Jupiter moon's oceans may harbor complex life—perhaps not unlike fish—thanks to a drastic upward revision of the seas' expected oxygen content.
