Photo: Chinese Crabs Rapidly Invading U.K., Scientists Warn



Chinese mitten crabs are thought to have arrived in Britain in the ballast water of commercial ships in the 1930s. According to a recent study, by 1999 the crabs were colonizing 278 miles (448 kilometers) of Britain's coastline a year.
