Photo: Where Elephants Tread, Geckos Thrive, Study Finds

A man stands by a tree damaged by elephant browsing. A new study has found that damage to trees and other changes that elephants make to their habitat can be beneficial to geckos, by providing them with more and better places to hide from predators and avoid the hot sun.
