Photo: Deadly Java Tsunami Caused by Slow-Moving Quake



People gather on July 18 around houses wrecked by a tsunami that struck the day before on the Indonesian island of Java.

More than 300 people are dead after the tsunami, which was triggered by an unusually slow-moving undersea earthquake.
