Photo: Oldest Parrot Fossil Found -- In Scandinavia?



The oldest and most northern remains of a parrot have been discovered in Denmark, experts say.

The ancient bird—nicknamed the "Danish blue" in honor of a Monty Python sketch—skimmed the skies when Europe was covered with a shallow tropical lagoon.
