A weakening tropical storm Ida is seen hovering over the U.S. Gulf Coast in a November 9, 2009, satellite image.

The storm, which will cause minor flooding when it comes ashore late tonight or early Tuesday, is likely the last major threat of the hurricane season, forecasters said.
