Photo: Bizarre Dinosaur Lured Mates With Bony Adornments



The spikes on the newly discovered Pachyrhinosaur lakustai look scary now, but they were sexy 72 million years ago.

The bony creature, found in Alberta, Canada and detailed in October 2008, is a relative of Triceratops. Its bony adornments appealed to potential mates, researchers said.
