Photo: Gospel of Judas Pages Endured Long, Strange Journey



A page from the Gospel of Judas manuscripts illustrates the document's fragile condition. Dating back to the third or fourth century A.D., the manuscripts are thought to be a Coptic, or Egyptian Christian, translation of a Greek text written sometime prior to 180 A.D.
