Photo: Tombs Found in Syria Hold Riches, Signs of Ritual Sacrifice

A chamber inside a tomb at Umm el-Marra, Syria, holds the remains of an adult female. The chamber is part of a tomb complex, excavated over the period of six years, found to contain gold and silver treasures, signs of sacrificed animals and babies, and a form of writing never seen before.
