Fortunately, we can count on super telescopes to have an idea of what there is out of the Earth. And we can see a wonderful and magic world. Great pics. Thanks.

Eerie Fog really makes me feel that someone is watching over us in a good way. I too loved these pics...so amazing to see how beautifully diversified and expansive our Universe is. Vampire Stars there...energy zappers here. Different levels of creation in different forms of the same philsophy.  Very interesting with ah ha moment.  Thank you. Namaste,

Great photos! The Universe at first was the size of a baseball...then the big bang. Then it expanded to what we have today. It will die in billions of years as galaxy after galaxy is sucked into black holes, and black holes are sucked into each other until there is only one left.  From that black hole a new universe will explode outwards again about the size of a baseball.  In short the universe is eternal expanding and shrinking foever.  What is contained in that baseball sized universe is what some people would call "God".

If we ever reached "Planet Hell", it would be interesting to find out how far into the outward facing side we'd have to go to find earth like temperatures transmitted from the star-facing side of the planet... That is assuming the outward facing side isn't hot already. The image description says nothing about the temperature of the outward facing side, but since it always lies in darkness, it is obviously much cooler than CoRoT-7b's other side.
