To celebrate the 200 millionth download of the Firefox Web browser, students carve a commercial crop circle depicting the Firefox logo into an oat field near Amity, Oregon, on August 12, 2006.

Crop circles have flattened fields in at least 52 countries in recent decades, including Australia, China, Germany, and Russia, Alexander said.
