Jerusalem, Israel, May 6, 2009--Undercover Israeli police seized what appears to be an ancient Hebrew document thought to date back to the second century A.D.

Israeli government officials said that two Palestinian men tried to sell the papyrus on the black market. The find, thought to be a legal document, contains 15 lines of Hebrew in characters also seen in the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient texts.
