A French angelfish breaks away from the pack in this award winning wide-angle picture taken during research off Key Largo, Florida, by Rosenstiel School graduate student Evan D'Alessandro.

Growing to about 16 inches (40 centimeters), French angelfish congregate, often in pairs, at shallow coral reefs. Juveniles post themselves at "cleaning stations," where they eat algae and parasites off of other, presumably grateful fish.
