Turija, Serbia, February 28, 2009--Yard after yard of sausage is made in preparation for Turija's 25th annual sausage festival. The result: a 6,643-foot (2,025-meter) coil of the meat product.

Turija already holds the Guinness Book record for longest sausage. Each year, the town breaks its own record by a centimeter, according to Balkaninsight.com.
