San Martin, Colombia, November 16, 2008--Dressed in indigenous warrior regalia, a man flashes not-so-pearly whites at the Cuadrillas de San Martin San festivities.

Cuadrillas, or "crews," reenact historic clashes, organize elaborate displays of horsemanship, and compete in tournaments. It's all part of San Martin's annual multiday folk festival, which is said to have been celebrated for some 300 years.
