Liverpool, England, October 4, 2008--A hallucination-inspired installation by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, called Gleaming Lights of the Soul, evokes a sense of infinity at the Liverpool Biennial.

The installation involves a changing constellation of LED lights hanging in a small, mirrored room to create an infinite chain of reflections.

The art show, held in public spaces and galleries across the city, is Liverpool's last event as the European Capital of Culture. Vilnius, Lithuania, is the 2009 host city.
