Beijing, China, September 8, 2008--World-class competition continues in the "Bird's Nest" stadium as the Czech Republic's Josef Stiak hurls the discus in the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

Stiak placed seventh in the men's discus F55/56 event.

Some 4,000 athletes, representing 150 countries, are competing in the games which run through September 17.

Their athletic achievements inspired China's Olympic motto, "Two Olympics, equal splendor."
