Zestoa, Spain, September 10, 2008--A hibernating bear appears to slumber through the centuries--but these fossils are a forgery for a good cause.

An exact copy of northern Spain's Ekain cave, discovered in 1969, has been created, including the replica bear remains.

The original cave also houses some of Europe's outstanding examples of Paleolithic art--preserved for 14,000 years.

The replica cave will allow tourists to experience Ekain and its art while conserving the original.
