Srinagar, India, July 25, 2008—A Kashmiri Muslim woman cries during a protest calling for the bodies of three of the four young children killed in a grenade attack a day earlier.

A suspected Islamic militant in the disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir tossed a grenade at a group of migrant workers awaiting a bus to take them home, killing a woman and her four children.

The protesters said the three oldest children were from the woman's first husband, a Kashmiri, and they demanded their bodies for burial, the Associated Press reported.

The insurgency against Indian rule in Kashmir has killed tens of thousands of people since 1989.
