Budapest, Hungary, March 30, 2008—Demonstrators protesting against China's recent crackdown in Tibet form the peace sign using torches in the city's Heroes' Square.

Tibetan exiles claim that 130 people have died in western China during two weeks of protests against China's treatment of Tibetan Buddhists. Chinese officials put the death toll at 22, according to the Associated Press.

China has accused the Dalai Lama and his supporters of organizing the clashes to sabotage the Beijing Olympics and promote Tibetan independence, the AP reported.
