New York, New York, March 6, 2008—Shattered glass litters the sidewalk outside a military recruiting station in New York's Times Square.

A small explosive device went off near the storefront Thursday morning, causing damage but no injuries.

Authorities said Friday they suspect the incident may be linked to similar small bombings at the city's Mexican and British consulates in 2005 and 2007, but they did not name any suspects or identify any possible motives.
