Ancient Small Humans' Bones Found on Island

March 10, 2008—Scientists have discovered thousands of bones of small-bodied humans in the Pacific Ocean island nation of Palau. (Read full story.)

Analysis of the bones suggests they align with those of modern humans but exhibit similarities to those in Homo floresiensis, the so-called hobbit found on the Indonesian island of Flores in 2003.
