Charleville, Australia, January 22, 2008The Warrego River floods the town of Charleville after torrential rains.

Queensland state is suffering the worst floods in 20 years, and the water has strained temporary barriers and levees.

Hundreds of people have been evacuated from the region. Damage to homes, business, and infrastructure is estimated at about 44 million U.S. dollars.
