UN Rates Best, Worst Countries

The UN recently rated the Scandinavian country of 4.6 million people second on an annual list of the most desirable places to live.

Norway's GDP per capita is $41,420 (U.S.), according to 2005 figures.

The country fell from its first place status in 2006 after a six-year run, pushed out by Iceland's new life expectancy estimates and GDP, Reuters reported.
