Chetumal, Mexico, August 21, 2007—Residents try to unblock a flooded sewer drain after Hurricane Dean's landfall on the Yucatán Peninsula.

Weather forecasters have predicted that the Category 5 hurricane will dump at least 5 to 10 inches (13 to 15 centimeters) of rain, with some places reaching as much as 20 inches (51 centimeters).
