November 8, 2006—A full-body massage and seaweed rubdown—sometimes a killer whale just needs a little "me" time.

The powerful porpoises are known to veer off from their pods regularly to tickle their fins with kelp and scratch their backs against sea-bottom pebbles.

Watch as a killer whale wends it way through a patch of raw kelp, and learn how and why the hunters also sink to the ocean floor to scrape their bellies and flippers.
