New Marine Species Discovered in Indonesia

This reef-building coral is one of the 20 new coral species discovered on Conservation International's recent survey of Indonesia's Bird's Head Seascape region. Some of the sites surveyed were found to have the highest diversity of hard coral ever documented. In one instance, more than 250 species were recorded within an area of only 2.47 acres (1 hectacre).
