Video: Sea Eagles Play "Chicken" in Turf Dispute

August 16, 2006—If you are a habitat-crashing sea eagle, be warned: Fish thieves will not go unpunished. White-bellied sea eagles will defend their home territory from other avian invaders, with challenges escalating from a simple vocal warning to a whirling dive bomb.

Watch as a lone male eagle tries to steal a meal from another family's turf and winds up locking talons with another male in a spiraling game of "chicken" that decides who stays and who goes.
