Wranglers Guide Cows out of Hurricane Rita Floodwaters

September 25, 2005—Catherine Howk, 81, sews a quilt she's making for her grandson while sitting on her porch surounded by water in Jean Lafitte, Louisiana, Sunday afternoon. Much of the fishing village, which sits south of New Orleans, was flooded Saturday afternoon following Hurricane Rita. Howk, who was born, raised, and lived much of her life in Laffite, said that the area has never flooded like it has following Rita.
