To make a stronger impression on juries at international beard and mustache competitions, Rainier Maute dyes his blond, Kaiser Wilhelm-style mustache with hazelnut mustache wax. The 48-year-old truck driver from Albstadt, Germany, won the Kaiser mustache category at the World Beard and Moustache Championships in 1997.
