Golan Heights, Israel, September 25, 2008--Love knows no boundaries for Druze bride Arin Safadi, but politics can't be so lightly dismissed.

Safadi lives in the Golan Heights, which Israel seized from Syria in 1967. She crossed the United Nations buffer zone to marry a Syrian-Druze groom on September 25, but will be unable to return to her village of Ein Qeinya.

Syria demands the return of the Golan Heights, but Israel hopes to keep a strip of land along the Sea of Galilee.
