Cabaret, Haiti, September 10, 2008--Haitians reach out for a helping hand--in the form of clothes--after a series of four tropical storms flooded much of the Caribbean nation and killed at least 300 people.

Millions may face starvation due to the loss of critical food crops.

These residents received aid, but elsewhere help was slow to materialize. The distribution of internationally donated food and supplies is hindered by Haiti's poor transportation infrastructure and political insecurity.
