Photo: Biggest Known Landslide Found on Mars?



Sandwiched between Mars's northern lowlands (blue) and southern highlands (orange and red), the midlevel Arabia Terra region (green, center-right) may be the result of a United States-size landslide early in the red planet's history, a December 2008 study says.
