Photo: Bilingual Babies Get Head Start -- Before They Can Talk



Even before they can babble a single word, babies in bilingual households may get a head start in life, according to an April 2009 study.

Rather than being confused, infants that heard multiple languages seemed better able to process sound cues than their monolingual contemporaries.
