Photo: Horse Slaughter Continues in U.S., Despite Recent Law

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced yesterday that it will allow three foreign-owned processing plants—two in Texas and one in Illinois—to continue slaughtering horses for their meat, despite a recently passed law designed to end teh practice in the U.S.
