Photo: Rare Mass Tombs Discovered Near Machu Picchu



Some 80 human remains found at two sites (above, skulls and bones in a cave) near Machu Picchu may shed light on the ancient Inca city's role as a regional center of trade and power, scientists said in September 2008.
